sweet and sour pork!
Finally made sweet and sour pork.
I am such a slave to this dish seriously.

well and it tastes really good according to my parents.
Dad: The colour is really nice.
Mum: Meat is really Q.
Not bad eh???
it's so cute how they have this impression that i'll starve to death. and when i cook something they'll be really happy and say "good now you won't be starved to death" and now my mother is contemplating to retire as the family's cook. I warned them that it'll be sweet and sour pork and fried egg everyday, that changed her mind.
Ima gonna share the recipe here!
- use pig shoulder meat (150g)
- dice the meat, preferably 2.5cm by 2.5cm?
- marinate with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar and half a beaten egg
- MASSAGE the meat for like 2 min. (i did for 5min cuz it was damn fun)
- keep in fridge for later use ( i marinated it for 3+ hours)
- Cuz there will be frying, so we need something to bread the cubes with
- i ran out of starch, didn't want to use flour so i made bread crumbs
- cut the bread into small cubes and place in oven and bake it at 125deg cel. for 10min
- pound it to crumbs
- coat meat with crumbs
- deep fry till turn brown
- drain with kitchen towel
- add in sweet and sour sauce and bell pepper and pineapple.
- add in meat
- stir fry for 2-3 min for meat to absorb sauce.
- SERVE!
muaha. i haven't had any craving for anything else. so. i'll make it when i do. haha.
